Best Shoes to Wear to Work: Comfortable and Cute
One thing about me, I WILL be buying shoes. The other week I counted, and I'm pretty sure I have over 50 pairs of shoes (which is insane), but I do think it gives me the qualifications to share what I think are the very best shoes for work! I've tried so many pairs, some failing epically and giving me the worst blisters and some becoming my everyday favorites, and I wanted to share my favorite ones. From pumps to ballet flats, here are the best work shoes for you!
To make things even easier for you, I've broken them down by type. Sometimes I'm here for a ballet flat, and sometimes I'm ready to wear a heel to work. It all depends on the day! I do love the option to mix it up with different colors and styles, but one thing in common is that they're all perfect for a professional setting and give all-day comfort. No sore feet here!
Ballet Flat
9 times out of 10, I am wearing a ballet flat to work. I think they're the perfect addition to a business casual fit, and they're also light weight and the right shoes for also walking around the city (if you're a city girl!). I literally just bought myself another pair because I truly believe you can't get enough ballet flats.

Sezane Matilda Ballerinas
A classic flat, these Sezane ballet flats are a staple. I love the simple, pointed toe, these are an everyday essential for me. They're such a good basic, easy to style up or down. I love that they come in colors and patterns!
Ok... I am obsessed with these. These are so trendy and the perfect way to spice up any outfit. I am in love with the basket weave construction. Such a gorgeous flat, a must-have!
I love these chic, but classic ballet flats from Free People. They have such fun colors and looks that can elevate any outfit. I personally am loving the pink and blue shades. I love the slip-on style for convenience and the two straps are such a nice look. Definitely will be adding these to cart.
Loafers
I love a loafer because I truly believe you can wear these all year round, especially in those cold climates! There's also a great variety of colors, fun patterns, and can have such sleek designs. Loafers are also great because I truly feel like they're a really practical choice, while still being adorable.
I am obsessed with these loafers. The studs, the crinkle leather, the buckle. The perfect trendy, fun loafer. Definitely will be buying these!
These minimalist loafers are such a classic style. These are such a good shoe for any work attire.
The Janet Loafer is so classic, yet so versatile. These are perfect for everyday wear. They recommend sizing half a size down so note that if you decide to order!
One of the coolest loafers I have seen. The Madewell x G.H.BASS Mary Jane Lug Weejuns Loafers are such a cool, chunky loafer that can elevate any office look. One of the best loafers in my opinion!
Mules
Imagine this: it's a summer Friday, you're at the office in the morning, but then you have brunch at 1 pm. Mules are the perfect shoe for it all! Not to mention no heel pain at all and no chance of a blister because your feet are actually breathing. I love a mule for a casual ensemble!
These Old Navy myules might be one of my new favorites. Such a simple slip-on mule that is a great basic for the office, it's even comfortable enough to wear all day in the office.
A closet staple for all the corporate girls. I love the simple look and cute bow! Also not to mention that these are super comfortable work shoes AND flat shoes.

Slingback Heel
I don't even want to tell you how many slingback heels I own. I truly went through a phase (am I even out of it?) where all I wore to work was a slingback. I loved how these always have such a classic style, and I think they're really easy to walk in. Not to mention, they come in a really great variety of heel heights!
If I could be a pair of shoes, it would be these. I am in LOVE with these Cap-Toe Slingback. The suede fabric is gorgeous and I love the mesh detail.
A classy pump can elevate any work outfit. I love the nice leather fabric and I am loving a kitten heel lately. The perfect closed-toe shoe. Also, your feet won't hurt at the end of the day in these.
I will never stop talking about these shoes from Sezane because they’re THAT good. They come in a million colors and I truly believe they’re the shoe of the year.

Block Heel
Block heels are like slingback heels more practical sister. I think these are great for a long day at the office, and I love how the different designs and colors they come in. Looking at these photos, I want more to add to my collection!

One thing about me, I WILL stand by every single shoe Sezane makes. These are no exception. They kind of remind me of the Everlane shoes below but with a reverse scrunch. Obsessed.

Pumps
Not going to lie, pumps aren't what I typically grab but that's just me being me. I think they're great, and honestly very much THAT office shoe, I just unfortunately walk a little too much for them. But that being said, I absolutely love these for when I'm feeling brave.

A classic pump, these Sam Edelman heels are not only timeless but also one of the most comfortable shoes I've worn! Kind of shocking for a heel, but hey, I'll take it.
While these may be a bit of an investment, they are timeless. They provide great arch support, making them such classy comfortable shoes.
