Sezane Review: Is this the best French Brand to Shop From?
If Sezane has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Sezane has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Sezane has only one fan then that is me. If Sezane has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. Because truly, I believe that for the first time in my life, I've found a brand that captures everything I want in a personal style and I am FULLY obsessed.
Everyone in my life knows that I'm the biggest Sezane girlie. So much so that when I went to the San Francisco location with my friends and I was showing them all my favorite pieces, a shopper literally thought I worked there because I knew so much LOL. So yes, I'll take that as my certification of proclaiming that Sezane is one of the best French brands out there right now.

What is Sezane
If you don't know what Sezane is, I'm ready to spill the beans and tell you everything and more. A women's fashion brand, they've been around for 10 years or so. But honestly, I feel like it only recently started to blow up as a staple Parisian brand! They're all about great quality, French style, and amazing timeless pieces for your closet.
You can get everything from classic ballet flats, to the coziest sweaters, to the iconic trench coat (but don’t worry, if you keep reading I’ll share all my favorite pieces). Very chic French women-esque in all aspects! They also have a sister clothing store for men called Octobre that Coley is a die-hard fan of, but that's a long story for another day.
They have an amazing core collection that is very much the vibe of everyday style, but they also frequently drop a new collection or collaboration every couple of weeks. Some of my favorite brand crossovers have been with Sea New York and FARM Rio.
How Much does Sezane Cost
The price point kind of sits anywhere from $45 to $400 (but that's for the fancy coats). So is it one of the most affordable French clothing brands? Unsure. It can be a little steep, but as someone who doesn't shop fast fashion, I'm all about investment pieces that I'll wear over and over and over again. They also don’t really have sales which is a bummer.
I kind of feel like it's high-end adjacent because it's not quite luxury or reflects high fashion pricing, but it's still worn by celebrities and considered a really great brand in the fashion industry! Kind of like an accessible luxury brand? TLDR: it's pricey but worth it.
How to Shop at Sezane
They don't have many brick-and-mortar locations (I think their locations right now in the United States are New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Austin), but I will say their online shop is great. I typically shop online and do returns in person at the San Francisco shop. Also fun fact, Sezane loves to throw in a surprise, free tote with your order every once in a while. I currently have 4 different totes that I'm obsessed with, all different designs!
I won't lie, they do sell out kind of fast (and for good reason!). I'm not seeing EVERYTHING will be sold out all the time, but popular items in popular colors can take a bit to restock. I want to say they restock between 9 and 9:30 am Paris time on Wednesdays and Sundays. If there's something specific I want, I'll turn alerts on for the item. If you do that, there's a good chance you'll be one of the first people to be in the know when it comes back in stock! (Also peep the cutie San Francisco location below).
What is Sezane’s Return Policy
If you order online, they do include a return label sticker in the package if you need to return or exchange them for some reason and it's truly one of the many reasons why I love them. I HATE a hard return policy, and Sezane's is amazing. I'm pretty sure the return policy is 14 days, but I had this sweater that I got from them that I never wore for like 2 months and still had the tags on it. I messaged them on IG basically begging them to be flexible, and they were so nice and let me return with no problem. Literally reason number a million why they're my favorite French brands.

There are genuinely so many items I could include, but thought I would just pick my favorites that I think everyone would absolutely love . So please, see below for my own curated list of clothes to capture that French girl style!
If we’re looking for the perfect fall jacket/sweater situation, I think you don’t need to look any further because this is IT. It’s actually so stunning, I can’t stop looking at it.
It also currently comes in Camel as well, if you’re looking for a brown vibe!
I'm not going to lie, Sezane has an incredibly strong focus on knitwear and it's because they slay that category. I could probably go on and on about different knitwear styles, but right now I'm obsessed with this sweater.
A lot of them are made out of Alpaca, so DO NOT wash your sweaters. I've shrunk one too many, and it's truly devastating when that happens.
I just got this the other week and it's already one of my fave Sezane items. They have so many classic pieces, this one obviously takes the cake.
It's perfect for work and so comfy! I do put this in the wash, but I will air dry it. These shirts are great for work or for a great addition to anyone's capsule wardrobe.
This dress is genuinely THE fall/winter dress. It has the perfect feminine feel and I feel like it's so comfortable and flattering. It feels like the perfect mix of French girl fashion and modernity.
It comes in another color, and I'm obsessed. I love the idea of wearing this to brunch or a winter winery!
Sezane has a range of denims, but I am specifically a Le Crop stan for life. I have two pairs of these jeans, and they are soo comfortable and hit perfectly for my height (I'm 5 foot 3).
The organic cotton is so soft, and I think they are at an affordable price for denim. I'm fully obsessed with the different styles the Le Crop comes in.
I would literally die for this trench. It's so stunning and every time I wear this I feel like a born-again French woman.
They have a couple oth variations of this coat, but this one is my personal favorite with the lining and classic collar.
I feel like sometimes all you need is a silky skirt for a night out. A slippery midi skirt is a super popular style right now, and I think Sezane may make the best one. It also comes in a bunch of different colors and prints!
If you don't have a Mariniere, are you even shopping at Sezane? These are THE classic Sezane piece. It comes in a zillion colors, and is one of my favorite go-to shirts for a casual day out, or even to go to work.
Coley has kind of put a stop to all my striped shirts (I may have over 12 versions currently), but if I were to buy more I would.
I love Sezane's version of a casual shirt, because it literally is still stunning. I love the buttons up the front and is super comfortable! I love to wear a brand that is cute and doesn't make me feel blegh, and this is the perfect one.
If there’s two things Sezane is going to slay, it’s a collab AND a swimsuit. I am obsessed with this one from their latest collab! It is the perfect feminine feel, while still being full-coverage.
The way I would DIE for these kitten heel, ballet flat-esque shoes. They come in a ton of different colors, but the polished camel is my personal fave.
I mean, can you imagine me stomping around the city in these? Very much a Parisian style shoe, and perfect for work. And yes, I do order my normal size!
Sezane's bags are some of my favorites ever. I think they just kind of slay with their leather goods in general, but this bag is my personal fave!
I love how it looks like something you would actually use every day, while still looking like a bag from a luxury brand like Marc Jacobs or something.
Not only is Sezane queen of clothes, they also slay jewelry. This is a lot coming from me because I’m not really a jewelry girl, but this ear cuff is SO GOOD.
I don’t have my ears pierced but I just think it’s such a cool statement piece for pierced and un-pierced ears. Obsessed!
